I am a visual artist, an energy reader and healer, a daily meditator, a licensed marriage and family therapist in California with a holistic approach, a teacher, a lover and player of music, and a strong advocate for holistic health and creativity in life.
I started playing piano when I was 7 years old and loved every day of practice. I also loved drawing and painting; one of my biggest delights was getting a box of Caron d’ Ache colored pencils for Christmas, and another great experience was my father spending time showing me how to oil paint – ah, the exotic aroma of those paints! Music and art have always been a part of my life, sometimes in varying degrees of presence and intensity. After too many years not actively painting, I am back at it. I am always happiest when my life includes plenty of art and music-making and music listening.
I also consciously became aware of the power of nature to help ‘shift my energy’ on a camping trip high in the mountains, sitting on a large rock in the middle of a flowing river. I was about 8 years old during that first-remembered peak experience. This was the start of a life-long spiritual quest, bringing me to my present place of both reading and healing people through clairvoyant energy shifting, as well as adopting a daily meditation practice, mostly in the Soto Zen Buddhist tradition. I am still on the path – beginner’s mind helps me a lot : ) I also have had a decades long interest in holistic health and eating.
