It’s the weekend and time for fun. Grab a bit of inspiration from this short, two minute video with artist Jerry Fresia, on the Thrill That Comes From Painting. Warning: this may make it hard to resist taking up your paintbrush, or whatever media you enjoy . . . and creating!

Artist Jerry Fresia says it very nicely: “When I look at something I don’t see houses or boats or water, I see color. In a painting I release the color from my palette, not worrying about the results. You look for color, you try to mix it, you put it down. It’s all about gettinga kick, a thrill, about putting a stroke down so another humanb eing an see the feeling that you had. It’s not literal, it’s not about results nor objects; it’s about brush storkes, the human touch of paint on canvas.”
There is great joy in sharing these things : )
